I remember reading an international sarvey or poll about marriage that is done annually, and in it, Japanese women are almost always (as long as I know) chosen as women that will make the best ideal wife by men around the world.

I have seen this sarvey several times, but I wish if I remembered its source.. But I have seen this result published on line before just like several months ago. anyway.

A few reasons were, ,they are very feminine, devoted, patient, sweet, faithful, kind, respectful, caring, and more.
Some comments I remember said they make their husband the happiest, He should have explained more in detailes!! I really wanna how, but that doesn’t matter!!

Unfortunately, there are not many Japanese women around me, but
my sisters knew a few before and they said they are especially kind-hearted, faithful and respectful.. hmmmmmmmm. I know it doesn’t mean all of them, are, maybe, but seeing this poll result since I was a young boy always made me wonder how Japanese women are if we really get to know them, like husband and wife, hmmmmmmmmmm…

Has anyone seen this poll?
There should be some good reasons that they are chosen as the best ideal wife by men around the world almost every year (as long as I have seen the result, they were always the top 1) hmmmmm, I am at a good age to think about marriage, and this poll just came to my head lately.

I remember my prof at sociology at college Looong time ago said Japanese women’s treatment of her husband in marriage is like a dream for a man, etc etc., but again, I don’t remember well, since I wasn’t a good student.. I never was, I guess.

If you know any nice Japanese women/lady, pls let me know!
I know they are respectful towards parents, and that is really good.:slight_smile:

I also remember American women and French women being at the bottom at this ranking almost every time, and I kinda understand why, I guess… I have seen several French women with full of under arm hairs hanging out in summer.

hmm dont know abt japanese women, but a true Muslim woman who follows the sunnahs is the best wife

Japanese women are devoted and trustworthy. That is how society has deemed their status and nature in Japan. To apply that across the board to all Japanese women is not fair to other societies. However I will agree that they do make the perfect slave/wife. If a man is looking for a woman who will rub his feet, have his favoriet beer ready and will help with his clothes, then yes a Japanese woman is for you.

If you seriously are considering basing your marriage choices around this poll I would suggest you remember that Japanese society is extremely rigid and cold. It is xenophobic and extremely strict. They would be major issues to consider.

For some of us, like myself, they are not my ideal in a wife or even a partner.

I think certain qualities apply to all cultures: the best wife is one who cares about her husband and takes care of him. She doesn't blab to total strangers about their sex life or his shortcomings, whatever they may be. She's devoted to him, whether by having a hot meal ready for him when he gets home or working to put him through professional school, for example. She listens to him quietly and without judgement and won't run at the first sign of trouble. For Muslims, she will beautify herself only for him, rather than saving your beauty for strangers.

And all this applies exactly to the husband as well.

I think you can find some variation of these type of women in all sorts of societies and cultures

hey, don't take my post too seriously...:)

I heard that about Japanese society BEFORE in the past, but I know it is changing. Japan is at the top of International trades, and they gotta start accepting other nationalities, and people lately are way much more open to that, at least more than we are.

anyway, don't take my post way too seriously like I am gonna decide my wife besed on this poll..? comon,, please.

But if there is Japanese Muslim woman, (I heard there are a few) I want to meet them.. and there is no blame on me wanting to meet them!:)

hmmmmm, that is a good question!!!

I think especially in islam, woman is (wife) is supposed to take care of him,, ((hey, women, pls don't get offended, I am just writing what I think Islam says) so it is like a mother, of course with something else..

and Ghalad didn't want a wife who is gonna massage him or give him drinks, but if your wife refused to do it for you, it is not islamic either.

Someone once told me that guys want girls who're like their moms. That's why men are too demanding about their wifeys sometimes.
