'Politicised role' of Ch.Iftikhar to be addressed - PML N leaders

This is something PML N leaders have been saying on the private tv channels, especially after the PPP has now made it an issue that needs to be addressed as well.

However, they noted that the leadership had also discussed the option of talks with Iftikhar Chaudhry after his restoration on his politicised role during the lawyers’ movement. They said that several PML-N leaders had said that it was only natural that the CJ would develop a “soft corner” for all the lawyers who had been at the forefront of the lawyers’ movement. The leadership said that the chief justice’s modus oper andi would have to be re-examined if such a situation arose.

I am glad the Judiciary is ‘officially’ being politicized in Pakistan. Why should this institution be left out. God Bless the EX CJ for his role in politicizing the Judiciary.

ifti backs off whiel still showing teeth, at the same time aitezaz and zardari have a run in and then shortly after aitezaz resigns.
