MMA Intransigence
Seeing and hearing Qazi Hussain Ahmad on one of the ‘Talk Shows’ on the TV, I was amazed by the illogical stance taken by Qazi. When the compere asked him that being the third party in terms of seats obtained, what right has he to claim the centre spot for the party. The compere asked a hypothetical question if his party had got the maximum seats and the PML(Q) was third, would he offer the PM post to PML? His blatant reply was, when we don’t agree to the PM post for PML(Q) being the third largest party, how can we accept it if we are the first party.
After inciting the Pakistani youth to fight the Americans in Afghanistan, they abandoned them to their fate when they were being killed and subjected to torture. During the Kargil crisis when the ‘Mujaheddin’ were fighting the Indians, Qazi Hussain Ahmad spent the entire two months in the US. What he was doing there at this crucial juncture is left to one’s imagination.
MMA won so many seats because of their support to the Taliban. Benazir in her interviews in US has told the American Press that the Taliban and Al-Qaeeda are taking refuge in Pakistan. Yet the MMA are willing to form a coalition with the PPP.
Though not yet in power the MMA has shown their rigidity in their unreasonable demands. They don’t believe in Democracy nor the promises they made to the public. They will make deals with the devil to come in power, because that is what they are interested in. In the end I feel like an utter fool to have cast my vote for the MMA despite some serious omissions and commissions by them.

It is only interested in getting Zardari out and Benazir in. The public can forget “The Service To The Awaam” bullsh!t.
