Political correctness and your daily life

How often it happens to you that you want to do something or say something but political correctness hinders your way?
May be it your work, your school/Uni or in daily life when dealing with commons. Is it something you pay special attention to or just ignore it all togather?
For me it happens when dealing with clients and foreign labour.

Re: Political correctness and your daily life

I try to be politically correct most of the time but certain things happen and I can't refrain from speaking my mind.

Re: Political correctness and your daily life

Usually I'm politically correct with people in a professional setting.

I speak my mind with those that I know well or I am comfortable with.

Re: Political correctness and your daily life

being politically correct basically means you are refraining from being mean and *****y. i agree with it wholeheartedly esp as language shapes our view on the world, the more we speak wel the more we will think-weel.

look at the wars on racism, they all started with combating the language of racism
