Dr Shakeel Afridi chose to help eradicate Osama Bin Laden from Pakistan instead of Polio. I am not at all grieved for OBL, but mixing intelligence ploy with an immunization drive is proving overwhelmingly detrimental to a multi-billion-dollar international movement which had almost removed the disease. While India has been declared polio-free, WHO has warned Pakistan that the responsibility of the failure of the drive against polio would be on Pakistan if the government did not take it seriously.
In response to the concerns of the international community, government of Pakistan has decided to get help from one Afridi to offset repercussions of another Afridi’s misadventures.

I think it is a very wise move by the government and wish Afridi plays a long inning and sees through the drive until the menance is eradicted from Pakistan.
