**A man at the centre of sex scandal allegations against Italian Prime Minster Silvio Berlusconi has been arrested on drugs charges, police say.**Businessman Giampaolo Tarantini was detained at Bari airport in southern Italy and is accused of drug-dealing in a case unrelated to the prime minister.
It has been alleged Mr Tarantini paid women - including a prostitute - to go to Mr Berlsuconi’s parties.
Mr Berlusconi has denied ever paying for sex.
Bari prosecutor Antonio Laudati said Mr Tarantini was being detained to prevent him leaving the country, Italian news agency Ansa reported.
Mr Tarantini was “dismayed” by his arrest, his lawyer Nicola Quaranta said.
