Re: police brutality

assholish pigs.

Re: police brutality

where is the beating???

Re: police brutality

and as usual, i missed it again.

it is all stemming from the protest that happened last year, in the vari hall, where a student was expelled as an end result. and that was a peaceful protest as well...which did eventually did get bigger, but not really violent. and the whole thing about people not allowed to protest in vari hall, bunch of bull**** if u ask me. no one can hear you if you are in one of the lecture halls there! i didnt know anything about it, and i was right there in my lecture! it's all politics, and all money making stuff, and i really belive that it should end. the change in president would be nice!:D

oh btw kaka, this happened @ york university, in toronto canada. we have this big hall, called Vari Hall, which has some lecture halls like right near it, and the university policy is that you can't use the megaphones near a class, since it can disrupt the classes....like the buses zooming by dont...like the annoying students talking on the top of their lungs walking by the classes don't.

oops..sorry...got a bit charged there.

Re: police brutality

That wasn't particularly brutal. British police breaking up socialist miners in the 80s, now that was a police charge worth watching....

Re: police brutality

LOL, i bet your reffering to the incident that happened during good old tatchers government? The use of horses and officer with shileds marching in a zulu stance was truly scary! I saw the movie sometime back as part of a course on crime, culture and conflict in society.
