Police have arrested the only MQM(Haqiqi) MPA in Sindh Assembly Younis Khan. He was arrested from the Sindh Assembly building after a long siege of the Assembly building by the police.

KARACHI: The Karachi police on Saturday arrested Mohajir Qaumi Movement leader Younus Khan from the Sindh Assembly building.
Police said he was hiding among the PPP woman MPAs in a bus which was besieged for several hours. His arrest took place when the PPP woman MPAs were disembarked from the bus after the session of the Sindh Assembly was adjourned.
The PPPP MPAs held protest demonstration over his arrest and chanted slogans against the police. A PPPP woman MPA also aboard the police mobile to express unity with Younus Khan. Another report said that two PPPP woman leaders Nasreen Chandio and Farheen Mughal had also been arrested.

KARACHI: The Karachi police besieged the Sindh Assembly building and raided a bus of PPPP MPAs here on Saturday for the arrest of Mohajir Qaumi Movement leader Younus Khan.
The PPPP leader Nisar Ahmed Khuhro lodged a protest with the new Speaker of Sindh Assembly over the raid on their vehicle. The Speaker asked him to prepare a report on the raid so that an action could be taken in this regard.
Secretary of Sindh Assembly Hadi Bux on the directives of Speaker ordered police to vacate the Sindh Assembly building. The vehicle of candidate for Sindh Chief Minister slot Ali Mohammed Mahar was also checked. According to police, Younus Khan was present at the building of the assembly.
alright i'll wait for 364 days to see some pronouncement that it was all a mistake, they were really not women and so no crime was committed and in fact he was never arrested ...just suspected of being arrested.

Since Musharraf opened up to the MQM, he has turned against Haqiqi.
Yes, he’s the only who can go to No Go Areas Btw, it was MQM who opened up to Musharraf and I heard about Altaf bhai to be a new Governor of Sindh. How ironic is that…
MQM(H) has to be done away with as per the deal made between Musharraf and Altaf. His arrest is the follow up to that deal. If he hasnt been arrested, Muttahida wud have announced by now that they are not going to support Mahar for CM slot. Its simple.

And these people used to be allies of ISI and army. This what you get for making deals with the establishment. Altaf is making a mistake trusting the same people.
