Point to ponder!

Sex, romance are God’s creation which He did create before Satan could discover and made us aware of!
We stand convicted for knowing the known!

Seems to be too philosophical!

MMmmmMMmmm Premaritial sex and oogling at naked chicks drools

who said Sex and Romance are prohibited? You are allowed to Romance. And have all the sex you want after the marriage.

Allah created everything, but somethings are "bad" and some are "good". its up to us to stay away from "bad" and then it also depends on the definition of bad.

gamma bhai, you can have sex after marriage too....

Sure, God created sex and romance but not so that these 2 "gifts" should be unduly violated because if they are, THEN you're pleasing the devil, not God.

No Sir! ...we stand convicted for not knowing the known.

PS I would love to elaborate on that but I hope u caught the drift.

There's more folosofy on the back of a cereal box. Where does satan and sex come into things unless you've been to the 'Orbit' in Morley on a Friday night?

I would love to ponder the point too, but the question remains...where is the God Forsaken point?

(Roman will be here any minute now)

Femme, I don't come that quick.

Regardless of anyones' catching the drift, kindly elaborate whatever you want to!

:hehe:

Are you saying the forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve ate is a symbol of having sex when they weren't supposed to? Some muslim scholars reject that symbolism...maybe it was really an apple they were not supposed to eat...or maybe not.

Even if the whole story does symbolize sex, we dont know what God's reasons were to forbid us from knowing something that was known to Him. Maybe he was waiting for the right time to tell adam and eve about it, or maybe he was planning on another method of procreation...who knows? The idea is - man was forbidden from something and he went against God's infinite wisdom at a time when man didn't possess even today's wisdom (which is still no match to God's). There is a message behind the story, and the message is more important than the story.

Good philosophical question though.

Yes I mean that Gudia. I am also aware that some Muslim thinkers do not agree to this but there are many others who beliee in it and there is a common understanding that this was like that. Its the first thing to have been explored and at the same time the first thing related to our faith and that is “we can not question the wisdom of Allah” in this high dramatic event.
I am still expecting some responsible postings here similar to yours.
Thanks gudia :k:
