I did read that - and totally agree with that. My point was that merely closing the thread and leaving it visible doesn't go far enough in implementing that policy. If somebody breaks the policy, delete the thread - don't just close. Otherwise you're encouraging rulebreaking

^ well eventually the thread may be deleted Atlantis... but we'd wanna leave it visible for a bit - i) for the thread starter to know why it was locked/will be removed and ii) to reinforce the policy with the general population.
That being said, I dunno what this thread was about and its best to PM the mod directly to expedite decision-making. A lot of mods might not get to the feedback forum in their daily operational routine.
