Well I was recently glancing over some poety by Ghalib. I think I read some shair about “writing with bleeding fingers”. Now poetry itself can be difficult to comprehend just because of shear difficulty of the urdu language. However, sometimes the concepts can be equally difficulty. I mean, who in their right mind would be writing a letter to their mehbobab with fingers drenched in their own blood. And what made Glalib think that his mehboba was listening or even cared as to how much he was bleeding. Poets…it is as if they are from a different planet.

Re: Poetry
sensitive romantic people like me:D
No such people aren’t from another planet…
True poems are very difficult to get, because the blunt meaning is hidden the scary truth is sweetened in a candy of words in order to make more poeple able to ejoy it…poetry is not only about a word game, it is to make feelings arise from words: emotions, sights, sounds, smells…anything can arise from poetry but everyone will get their own different picture:blush:
Re: Poetry
Zaroori naheeN ke the Poet/Poetess who is writing a poem is wat he/she actualy Feel.... They can Write whatever they want without even feeling a bit of it... So... Every Poem is not abt Feelings and emotions.... Ye... I agree some of them might be... :)

I did not say so, I can wirte something I’m not feeling, but I get best result when I at least fake that feeling:D
Re: Poetry
Shair logon ki actual feelings kay baray mai buhut kum loug jantay hain. However, it would be impossible to write something worthwhile without actually feeling anything about the subject.
