i tried it several times already. You know ppl have this strange aadat of getting things personal. I abandoned my efforts for fear of being misunderstood!

Gadha, I have posted a verse, lets get started with it right now and see what you and I mean from Literarty Criticism or participating in Poetry with the way it shoud be. :)

I agree with you Gadha :k:

but what i think is limiting the development of poetry forum is that it is mainly love-poetry (like most urdu poetry is apart from Iqbal’s some poems).

this poses a restriction in the analysis…cuz mainly one gets a view of the same theme only from a different angle…

i’m not a good poet myself…but analyzing poems is one of my favourite things :~)

i think an increase in the variety of poems and there themese will do a lot of good

I agree. We should hear different perspectives on the same poetry; it can be quite helpful for people like me who have very less understanding of poetry.

Also I’m sick and tired of people posting stupid ishq poetry; I mean there is more to what poets write, religion, country or societies are some of the topics at which several Pakistani poets have written master pieces. But here in poetry forum people keep dragging love again and again in every post.
