Leaving aside the Western, Central, Eastern, Outer, Lower bias of “The Punjab” and “Punjabi”, no matter what people say, the Majhi accent was, and is still, considered to be the standard.

I know it is standard punjabi of text. I just wrote that I find it weird

Agreeing on standards was never my forte.
