**tum bhi khafa ho loog bhi burhum hein dosto
ab ho chala yaqin keh bouray hum hein dosto

kis ko hamare hal se nisbut hai kya karein
aankhein to dushmanooN ki bhi purnum hein dosto

apne siwa humaray na hoonay ka ghum kise
apni talaash mein to humein hum hein dosto

kuch aaj shaam hi se hai dil bhi bujha bujha
kuch shahr ke chiragh bhi mudhum hein dosto

iss shahr-e aarjo se bhi baahar nikal chalo
ab dil ki raunaqein bhi koi dum hein dosto

sub kuch sahi Faraz per itna zaroor hai
dunya mein aise loog bauhut kum hein dosto **
