Being in bad mood alone doesn't mean anything. There are other symptoms as well, severe ones like bloating, hair fall or hair growth, B.O, horniness, depression, headaches etc.

Any symptoms that directly relate to the change in hormone levels are. And women say 'I'm psming' it doesn't mean 'I have pre menstrual syndrome and I can't function like normal' it's just a remark to say some symptoms (usually emotional changes) are present.

Hmm... not sure. You can't help bloating, headaches or cramping. Many women do sweat more and there is nothing they can do about that. These symptoms usually start a few days before... so they are pre-menstrual even though they overlap with the beginning of the period as well.
My mood swings were usually negligible and more to do with being pissy coz I was in pain. I had cramps that fit in to the dysmenorrhea category that began about 12 hours before my period.

i actually agree with u, i feel if you get waxing/threading done during pms, the hair grows back quicker than the usual .
