Re: PMP

I am working on getting one. I hardly get time to review the books and relevant material. I cannot bring myself to be disciplined enough to be regular on my preparation. I am self studying for the test. I find Rital Malkahi's books for 4th edition of PMBOK guide is good , I am following it together with online material which my company's online training website offers.

Re: PMP

Took online learning courses and a Boot Camp before the exam.

The exam is not easy but it's not hard either. You need to know how to apply the concepts of PM and the level of questions get harder as you get them right on the test. Make sure you do a brain dump as soon as you get in.

yes

Do sample exams before the exam. Make sure you have the right exams - the exam is not going to test your knowledge but how you can apply the knowledge. You need to know how apply outputs of Process Groups into the inputs for other processes. Most questions are about planning phase. Only a handful of formula questions.

Good Luck

Re: PMP

I am hoping to write exam sooner than later IA, I started studying hoping to finish PMBOK and then go do the course. I am in india right now there are supposed to be institutes here that help with prep by putting one through moc exams wagerah.

My husband downloaded pmbok and rita's book for me so trying to read through the books, I have done a PMP course the basic one 3-4 years back, but I didn't have enough experience at that time.

Chalo please any tip would be good and helpful.

Mirch bhai you want to become my PMP buddy??
