PMLN's lucky stars

Keeping in view the events of the past five years it seems as if PMLN has been very lucky, first to have an incompetent PPP government which helped them shield their shortcomings and now an incompetent PTI government in the most sensitive province of Pakistan. During the past five years zardari was the punching bag of the media (and rightly so) and now his place has been taken up by Imran khan. He is bogged down by his own policies that he cannot even act as effective opposition like he promised. When the governments were formed three months ago I thought that PMLN will not complete their tenure, now it seems as if Pti would lose its government first. The sort of confusion we are going through could lead us towards martial law as with discrediting of Pti there will be no other party in the country right now on which we can count on.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

PM is supposed to appoint the next COAS in two months time and their gov could very well go home the next hour. The nation can realse the loudest cheer then. That'd be a wonderful view.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

COAS announcement expected by Oct 07

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Media is targetting PTI govt more than Punjab or may be Federal Govt

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Well PTI wanted to be the party of change....

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

i don't see any chance of martial law, not anytime soon.

PTI for sure is punching back of Media and many more, but they called for it. Claimed too big, without knowing what may come their way, and only counting on best case scenario of clean sweep and all.

i agree with Ali, PMLN has not done anything out of the ordinary till now, rather they made blunders and faced tough decisions right after stepping in, but somehow other circumstances in the country are hiding their incompetency.

andhoon main kana raaja wala hisab hay

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Whatever drawbacks of previous government, it was much better than PML(N) and PTI. CJ and media haath dho kar peechay parhay the is ke bawajood woh apna waqt jaisay taisay kar ke nikal gaaiay magar "maut ke saudagran" ke samnay bilkul nahin jhukay.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

That will be a disaster. Let PML(N) complete its tenure. Whatever change people wants, it should be democratic. Make change with in assemblies rather than imposed by GHQ.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Cool Story Bro!

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

I think people of pakistan along with the drawing room analysts sitting on forums like these have been predicting martial law since 2008 when Zardari took over. And it didnt happen.

Lets see who will be the next COAS and if he is a Khar-painch unlike Gen Kiyani :)

Re: PMLN’s lucky stars

Look I don’t want to be lynched for blasphemy. The way how I visualize the scenario is like an Indian heroin dancing flanked by ordinary looking gals (for the whole purpose to make the heroin look good). I didn’t name any party here.:halo:

Re: PMLN’s lucky stars

Yah post tou joke section main move honi chahiye :omg: :rotfl:

Re: PMLN’s lucky stars

aakhri line main ik smily kam hai.. kia PML(N) ne budget main kattoti kar di? :hmmm:

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Agree but telling you honestly i don't see any chance for this Govt to complete its tenure, sooner or later another Martial law / Semi Martial law on its way. May be they ve selected care taker PM as well. But i wish this Govt must complete its tenure so if they will not deliver any thing then they ll be on same condition like PPP.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Anything about their coalition with goons of MQM in the name of reconciliation? didn't they support Amn Committee... If MQM and Amn Committee are phoolon ke saudagar, then who killed thousands Karachiites in PPP tenure? Na-maloom afraad?

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

I dont think PPP's government was better, the issue is that the people are so frustrated and fed up due to what they experienced during the past five years that they will NOT give the same leverage (and time) to those ruling now (if their situation keeps on deteriorating).

Re: PMLN’s lucky stars

Idhar PML(N) key hakoomat naheen hay bhai balka PT :fatee:Noonies key kia majal jo idhar par sakain

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Imran Khan and Sharif brothers have been painting a rosy picture for the country if they get a chance. People have voted for these people thinking that they will improve their condition, if they fail then the country is heading towards depression and despair. That's another thing if Bilawal does not cash that in the next elections.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

But explain that too passionate yet impatient public. All these angry PTI kids are going bonkers, slitting wrists left, right and centre and do they have any idea if the war kicks in and political parties lose public support, like they have already and there's a total breakdown in communication between the armed forces and government it wouldn't take long for a general to say screw this, let me take over to call for calm and order. We are in a state of war, we don't have an army spokesperson or some of secretary to who talks to the public? We need a Winston Churchill in this country - the only way we can win this war.

For those who read between the line, Musharraf before leaving had ensured the public that Gen Kiyani is the last person in army to have any interest in political affairs of the country. His appointment is perhaps the only well thought and reasonable decision he's made. Demorcay survived in Pakistan, Zardari survived only because of Gen Kiyani's purely aploitical personality.

Re: PMLN's lucky stars

Please can you for one stop with depressing talks only aimed at spreading despair?

Is there a Tahrir Square type place in Pakistan - maybe gathering all all the wrist slitters there might help bring the change.

Pakistan can start a war right this minute and tell you what they won't be able to claim victory even they keep fighting for next 10 years because the public simply lacks the morale, patience and strength that armed forces need to win wars. Does anyone here think army is not aware of this elephant in the room type fact?
