This exactly shows Pakistan's judicial system, and proves my point. Pmln has run away from the elections in the garb of stay, the same taunts they were using for Pti. Pakistani courts do not decide cases in one day. The petition against this pmln guy has taken about half the tenure of the present government already, does that happen in other countries as well. Even if pti's people are on stays, does it put the judiciary and Pakistani electoral system in good light? This is what Pti is exposing for the past few months.
exposing but conveniently using it for their defense? that totally pollutes their intentions.
There are serious flaws in the system (which are getting exposed every day) and can only be fixed by the regime in power if they have the will, anyways پیو تےمٹی پاو
There are no surprises here, this constituency never belonged to PML-N, they stood third in the general elections, and if i am right they stood 3rd because there was no other major player in the race...
This guy won independently and later joined PML-N, as any independent would do to gain the perks of being part of ruling party. This guy could have joined PTI or PPP had they had chances to make govt in the center.
Now PML-N is playing smartly here, since it is not their constituency, they decided to challenge it and in the heart of Lahore, they know they can beat PTI... they are contesting there... in all this... PML-N have successfully abstained PTI to do any positive or productive role as an opposition both in Center and in Punjab... infact in Punjab, there are cases where it seems like PTI's ijaz Ch is nothing but yes man to SS.
Had PTI focused on issue relevant to us, they would have won majority votes, how, it is simple math.. they could have made huge cry over inflation and or oil prices or imporving health and education level... and even if govt kneels to these demands.. it would be major moral win of PTI and voters would see them as their choice...
PML-N played it smart and they are going to do so for another year or so and PTI have taken the bait... they are more of loosers crying over split milk then an option for swing voters like myself...
exposing but conveniently using it for their defense? that totally pollutes their intentions.
If we sit there and start hoping for farishteys to come and rule Pakistan, then might as well bid farewell to Pakistan.
I know it is very convenient for you vent all your frustration on PTI. The easy and most thrilling option. Everyone wants to appear different somehow.
But use your mind and say with honest intentions say that there is nothing so morally wrong with big ministries running country on 'stay orders'? Of course it is legal. But a CM, Railway Minister, Speaker of Assembly, Minister of Energy, people who are sitting on billions worth of budget are literally surviving terms on stay order? Is this right?
I would trust a legal expert Fawad Ch that it is not cardinal sin to expect judges to use their moral wisdom and decide when and when not to issue stay orders because it has huge impact on governance, despite being legal. Some kind of debate on that needs to take place.
He's neither a PTI supporter nor a blind critic, but I think he makes a fair point. Let's not forget that a lot of PTI candidates also lost their seats after rigging investigation, but just because there are bad apples in PTI, doesn't mean you stop and condemn them from raising legitimate points about system. It will be a cleansing process for them too. The option to remain silent just to cover your own flaws is no good for system's improvement. It makes them as bad and useless as PPP.
You are free to vent all frustration on PTI and paint them as the worst thing happened, but no wonder new parties do not get formed because they don't have the resources to fight the rotten system as well as the criminal mafia.
I didnt saw any action or reaaction on his face... He simply ignore the question and started the bhashan.
BTW that trick of degree by Musharraf was nice one .. though we didnt got the desired result ( of having educated ppl in the Assemblies ) but we had many lairs caught red handed... and a new bread of professional politicians ( betee , bhatejee , bhanjeee , u can add the feminine of all as well )
