They were so close to Nawaz, until (or after) the day he was kicked out of power. Now they have allied themselves with Musharraf. We cant just blame Nawaz Sharif alone for what happened in the previous tenure, people like Chaudhry Shujaat (a personal favourite of our president) had their share too. They have all of a sudden become angels, just because they have sided themselves with the most powerful man in Pakistan, General Musharraf. Atleast those in the PML[N] have some traces of dignity, they remained loyal to Nawaz, even though they could have changed sides and joined General Musharraf, obtained ministries and kickbacks, with all the horse trading going on. Same goes with some people who were part of the PPP, most notably Faisal Sell’out’hayaat. The sad thing is, Musharraf welcomed them to his King’s party with open arms.
The worst lot amongst these politicians is ruling Pakistan right now.
