The PML-N may consider joining hands with the PML-Q provided the leaders of the ruling party stop issuing statements against the Sharif brothers and show seriousness about unifying the two factions. A senior leader of the PML-N, who did not like to be named, said on Wednesday the matter had come under discussion at various levels in the past, but no progress could be made because of the frequent anti-Sharifs statements by some leaders of the ruling party. “Perhaps the leaders of the PML-Q can’t come out of the influence of Gen Pervez Musharraf,” he said. The PML-N leader said at a time when Gen Musharraf had given unprecedented concessions to strike a deal with Benazir Bhutto, the leaders of the PML factions thought of getting together. The PML-N leaders have been saying that they can allow all ruling PML leaders to rejoin the PML-N except those who have been working against the Sharifs, or those who had stabbed the party in the back.
Well with the emerging grand pro-Musharraf coalition of PML Q - PPP - MQM - JUI (F), those left out will be left on the scap heap if they don’t be part of it. Hence the PML Nawaz party is now coming to it’s senses as well and cosying upto Musharraf.

I seriously doubt if PMLN will ever become part present PMLQ as long Choudries brothers are there. BTW, I think Choudries and Sharifs are kind of permanent enemies now, and if NS clan ever comes back to power Choudries will be long gone history.

enemity has long history starting from NS and PElahi fighting for CM post in Punjab, Chaudaries lost that time but they kept enemity always with NS.
NS was timething not a political leader at all. chaudharies on the contrast are very well connected to Army, and bereaucracy and has long political history. though they are not the best brains of the country.
in the long run I dont NS is ever comming back to power now. even if they come they cant get rid of Chaudharies.
i guess its time the real leadership from PMLs come forward and take the charge from NS and chaudharies etc. Mian Azhar, Hamid Nasir Chatha, and group from deep southern punjab! that will be ideal PML
off the topic I think SC should take suo moto to ban PML ever taken by any party in the country in any shape. cause PML is respectable party that created Pakistan was different to what its named now. its part of our history and we may want to proud of this party regardless of present affiliation with PML-xxxx and other parties.
^^ no I dont underestimate electorate, NS came due to Army backing, he hasnt got any now. so no chance. its not electorate who can bring him back.
he can win half of the seats in Lahore in free electorate process and thats it.
