Parliament is supreme right? so why go to SC for everything? If they think that Parliament is useless ad not trustworthy then why don’t they get out of it? We all trust our judiciary no doubt. But considering the legal proceedings are slow, why not take the parliamentary route?
By going to SC so soon, they have given PPP and government an excuse not to launch a separate inquiry because now their spokesmen will say that see there is a petition in SC already in progress, why should we interfere by launching another one?

IK made this demand when govt was not doing anything. Now when government has taken HH’s resignation AND was gonna launch an inquiry itself under extreme pressure, this petition’s timing is weird.
Sou Moto actions are quicker in processing in case you dont know that. SC can let go of technical requirements unlike normal proceedings.
I did not doubt NS’s intentions here. They did it in the right spirit but without realising that Government was under extreme pressure and their petition has given the government some breathing space! :k:

Just to criticize NS, PTI and its member are hell bound to criticize every move, the ground was open they could have filed the petition, no matter how lengthy the procedure was, one has to start from somewhere, but wait when all this was at its peak, somebody has to visit London and Morocco for a change...
