More trouble for PML(N).
As Shalimar police arrested PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan in connection with the National Police Foundation (NPF) case, hundreds of protesters assaulted the police party and managed to flee along with the MNA. Reports are that there was exchange of fire b/w police and ‘workers’ of PML(N).

Well this guy anjum aqeel has inroads into the police department as well, crooks like him need to be arrested and tried for the billions they have looted from our exchequers

I applaud his party for putting out this statment:
PML-N spokesman Ahsan Iqbal said that the party could take action against Aqeel after investigating the incident. He urged Aqeel to hand himself over to the police. "No one should be allowed to take the law into their own hands,” he added. link

now that is something classic... but atleast PML-N condemned it on party level... not like other parties who do whatever it takes to safe-guard the interest of criminals ( although i have not named anyone here, but few would be jumping up and down)

they did not condemn it. they "expressed regret" that he got caught in the first place. It's standard practice for damage control without taking responsibilty everywhere.

That is true... this is real bad, the if PMLN have any sharm o haya left, then either they should fire him from his position and hand him to police where he should be tried for running away and should be sent to jail with the restriction to take part in any political activity... but i doubt that it will happen
