PPP withdrew from responsibility but CTBT like their past habits actually like to formally involve army in issues. He at least had some personality when he was around last time (not talking 90 but even in 97 some was left) but now he is a such a loser who puts Malala to shame when she can come talk points w/o a handwritten note.

Sounds like such a sinister ploy if hinted by the army, and extremely stupid and defeatist step if done by the government.
But looks like army is about to be formally attached to this game, and this is not a good sign at all.

How dare a sitting PM invokes an article from constitution of the country... he have no right to do so, only the parties outside govt have right to do things like that... and that is their birth right to do so... anyone else doing is Blasphemy and shall be dealt accordingly.. I wonder if IK and his warriors are going to hang Army jawans as well along with Police...

Unlike Sharif Family's personal militia, there is no way Army will open fires at peaceful protesters especially at times like this. Excellent move to involve the army.

Shows the inefficiencies of civilian institutes as well. No effort from the government of "able and experienced" people to improve the working of these departments. These politicians themselves start pulling the army in their own matters, when they walk right in (the camel in the tent example), they are the biggest whiners then.

Why shouldn't it be looked at based on the merit of PMLN's actions alone? Why involve involve IK?
Nawaziay have proven once again that this operation against terrorists has been possible only due to army. If Nawaz Talibani was to make decision, he would have gone with another round of negotiations with takfiri terrorists, even after the Karachi incident.
It is army which said 'not anymore' under the leadership of Raheel Sharif. It is army which decided enough is enough. And it is army which is successfully conducting Zarbe Azb.
The only role Nawaziay may play if possible, would be to save Taliban from the wrath of people of Pakistan.

Exactly. Civilian institutions are routinely used as personal security and terror forces. Police is only trained in dramay bazi, and always kept politicized. Punjab and Sindh police departments have spent more time under PMLN and PPP than any other party, hence, its not difficult to imagine their allegiance to these parties. The result is in front of us in the form of their performance. That is why when it comes to matters of real security, Shahbaz Sharif calls on the army to provide it for the Sharif family, but when it comes to matters of creating public nuisances, like the Minhajul Quran murders, he calls on the police.
