^^No, I was being serious. If the system is corrupt you can't just blame just one person for corruption problem. That is why system should be merit based. Otherwise, he did nothing wrong unless you can prove it.
Ah ok. Cuz only the other day you were crying out loud about a CM's son-in-law doing what the system does to poor people standing up to the elite so much so that you wanted supreme court to take action. Why blame only one person for elites abusing low-lives? You turned out to be the follower of "Others do it too" alibi group of jiyalas.
"The system should be merit based"? who is responsible for the system? I thought it was the government. Who is running the government? Oh, sorry, it is establishment that forces the gods of politics to behave in a savage manner.
This disgusting son-in-law of our haram khor prime minister is going to determine fate of projects worth billions of rupees affecting millions of lives in Pakistan and you are defending him saying the PM is just taking care of his family.
^^^ Oh come on yaar eitna drama? This kind of stuff was normal in the US until late 1800s. This is what is known as “spoil system” and it is not uncommon or limited to Pakistan only. In a country where politics are seen as family business by all parties what do you expect?
In the politics of the United States, a spoil system (also known as a patronage system) is a practice where a political party, after winning an election, gives government jobs to its voters as a reward for working toward victory, and as an incentive to keep working for the party—as opposed to a merit system, where offices are awarded on the basis of some measure of merit, independent of political activity.
The term was derived from the phrase “to the spoils of the enemy” by New York Senator William L. Marcy,[1][2][3] referring to the victory of the Jackson Democrats in the election of 1828.
Similar spoils systems are common in other nations that traditionally have been based on tribal organization or other kinship groups and localism in general.

As expected. "Others do it too" mantra. Im not expecting much from PPP. Just was not expecting people like you defending the "spoil system".
I really hope you do not defend rape in Pakistan saying it also happens in India.
This takes the cake. Use wikipedia to justify corruption!
PPP is pretty shameless about corruption and crime, something we have known over the years. The founder of the party famously once said, “haan mein sharaab peeta hoon, kisi ka khoon to nahi peeta”…(though he ended up doing the latter as well).

great, so we should keep this system alive, should not complain about it, thanks PPP

Really? Great, that means we are perfectly aligned with US culture and politics and in 200+ years we might see Pakistan in good shape, thanks for gr8 news.
The news heading and thread heading has nothing to do with what you have posted. Can you link how he has been tipped as top World Bank job?
according to one jiyala logic the news is related to PM son-in-law hence related to topic, if you have problem with that then go talk to him.
The title and article are a bit misleading, as they seem to imply that Raja Rental’s damad is tipped for the ‘top World Bank job’. In reality, the post is the ‘top world bank representative*** from Pakistan***’…though even that job is miles beyond his capability, and his only qualification is being damad of PM.

It says he is tipped for the World Bank Job not that he has given the job..........
