PM okays projects for home town | Saach TV
Islamabad: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has directed utilization of development fund for his own home constituency.
PM has directed Planning Commission of Pakistan to include couple of schemes of Chakwal (near PM’s village) for financial allocation in federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the current financial year.
**This all comes after the PSDP 2012-13 has been finalized before the financial budget 2012-13 but to cater to special needs of Prime Minister, the scheme is going to be included in the PSDP.

A letter available with Saach.TV dated 4[SUP]th[/SUP] July 2012 discloses the name of two schemes “Upgradation/Improvement of Sohawa-Chakwal Road (88KM)” and “Upgradation/Improvement of Mandra-Chakwal Road (63 KM)” and these roads are connected to the village of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
A source in the Planning Commission, while commenting about the criterion for inclusion of projects in federal PSDP, said that this year’s PSDP includes 95% of projects which are nearing completion but the two proposed projects for inclusion in PSDP haven’t yet started. In fact, these projects have not been approved by the competent forums i.e. CDWP or ECNEC.
