PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

Holy cow! Even though I think the number of visits arent that many as compared to any other country’s head of state but the cost is certainly huge for a under developed country. Also if we do a cost-benefit analysis, i’m sure we are totally in loss.

Also i wonder how much cost was incurred in COAS foreign visits as he’s been pretty “buisy” as well.

Waste of money. Serious waste of money. There is no need for such trips.

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

^ why is it a waste? he goes and brings in aid for the country and some "pocket money" for himself, his family and his goons!...it all adds to the country's economy. :)

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

and these are numbers from GOVT so expect that they have deflated the numbers a bit. Real number is always somewhere b/w Govt and Opposition numbers…

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

Can someone give a count how much COAS visits costs the national exchequer. Last time he went to US he spent 2 weeks over there.

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

Agreed.. the chief of the real 'holy cow' of Pakistan must hv done it in millions as well. And when the top army brass of any country (including India) visits US, we know why are they doing it.

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

baray baray shehron (aur mulkon) mai chhoti moti loot maar hoti rahti hayn yaar

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

First thing they should do is to ABSOLUTELY ban state sponsored Umrahs and Hajjs by officials including the Prime Minister, President, self imposed mai-baap (military dictators), MNAs or even a pipsqueak caretaker Prime Minister like that Mian Mohammad Soomro character who took a whole platoon to do umrah was he was a short lived PM under Musharraf!

If they want to do it with their own money, well and good.

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

^^^Every such visit should be audited thoroughly including justification of such visits. Any irregularity found, should be made public and paid by these karta dharta from their billions amassed, looted from poor people of Pakistan.

Re: PM Nawaz Sharif’s 16 foreign visits cost the nation over Rs294 million

^ The justification they will provide is 'sawab kamana, Allah sey mulq ke liye dua karna'. Sadly, alot of our masoom awam falls for that.
