Re: plzz hepl mee
u can ask ur huby or mum in law 2 sleep wth ur girl in separate rioom
Re: plzz hepl mee
If she is a light sleeper - try to take the baby out of the room for nursing or have seprate rooms for the 1 year old. I understand she's young and needs you too.
You can try to give her something that soothes her like little blanket, a teddy bear something that she feels safe with while you tend to your nenborn

Re: plzz hepl mee
This should be a lesson for those who do not keep a reasonable break between pregnancies.
Having said that looks like nobody is available to help you out in your case.
Try to make your girl and your husband sleep in separate room. Make sure she has her own separate bed so that down he road she could sleep through the night without daddy being by her side once daddy moves back to moms room.

well babies cry at nite and there r many reasons, some has stomach problem etc the one thing i learned from my nursing staff is to make ur baby sleep on his stomach it will help him to sleep better and the gas problem is eased... try different sleeping positions one might soothe him ...know the reason behind crying,,know wht ur 11month old wants..or tthe only thing u can do is simply replace ur bed somewhere else, make ur daughter sleep first then take ur son wid u after she sleeps.take ur hubby's help.

Sleeping on the stomach leads to SIDS!! Baby should be put on her back to sleep otherwise there is a chance of suffocation!

well sometime not always and under supervision..it helps the baby to cope wid the stomach gas,wen i was in hospitial here in ksa my doctor advised to make my baby sleep on his stomach,so he will pass the gases he had in his stomach, and he was crying too much....i think making ur baby sleep on her back c an lead to choking, suffocation...making child sleep on sidewaves is better, this is wht my doctor toled me ....SID'Shapppens cause of many different reasons
Re: plzz hepl mee
i agree lying baby on his stomach helps in passing gas n doctors recomend to put baby on his stomach on ur lap for sometime but dont let them sleep in this manner
u can also pull their legs up 2 tummy it also helps in passing gas give gripe water after every feed n burp during the feeds after every 2 ounces almost
my prayers r wth u :)
ALL THE BEST:)

Hi SunMun, I dont have very much to add in here, you would have to figure out what works for your kids, and you will soon, the baby is only a month old
I just wanted to tell you that this is a very tough time, but you'll get through it, and you'll thank God for when theyre old enough to play together.I speak from experience.

Different countries have differnt ways I guess. Here only under certain cirumstances like when a baby has reflux and can choke on her own vomit, is sleeping on the stomach recommended. When my son was born 10 years ago, they allowed sideways but still recommended sleeping on teh back. When my daughter was born 5 years ago, the sidesleeping was frowned upon completely. The reason is newborns can't turn by themselves and therefore can suffocate. For gas etc what Devilsih angel says is recommended.
