so just out of curiosity…why is plucking the eyebrows considered “changing Allah’s creation” but not plucking the hair on the upper lip?
my initial instinct is to assume that changing the shape of the eyebrows alters your appearance somewhat but so does removing upper lip hair…

I’ve always found the ‘changing Allah’s creation’ argument a bit dodgy.. there are just so many exceptions to it (obviously cutting your hair is allowed, so is waxing your legs, wearing makeup etc etc)..

I know one of the reasons that eyebrows are mentioned specifically is because prostitutes in the time of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) used to do it..
