KFA has not paid its employees for the past seven months. If you were an employee of the company would you resign. The only caveat is that if you resign you would not get any of your pending salary. In this age of spiraling prices how do the employees manage. Tough situation.

BTW i think kingfisher is the best south asian airlines. Good service, good aircrafts, good food and good everything. i dont know why is it in not i profit. May be mallya should pay less attention to his islands, golf courses, F1 teams, IPL and mile high parties and pay some attention to his business.

i was a victim of this airline during my last trip to India. my flights were canceled from Varanlapsed since and i am still waiting for my refund...now i know why!...i must NOT expect any refunds whatsoever. will never fly KFA again. thanx Mallya for having a good life at our expense.
Kaka, yes...i agree the service and the food was good. we were served lunch during a 50 minute flight from Delhi to Varanasi...and, that i liked! :)

KFA was good while it lasted...IMO, the best airlines in India is still Air India :D

only if you fly Internationally or between major cities within India...their services to smaller towns are not that great at all.

Coming back to the topic, yesterday one of the employee's wife committed suicide. It is sad. People are being punished for no fault of theirs. I do not understand why the government is not taking any action. Mallya should be make culpable in this case and be brought to justice. I feel angry, sad and so powerless. I have a friend of mine who is working in KFA and it pains me to see him go through hell.

Air India has the best connections and best service currently amongst all airlines in India. And I am speaking from experience - since I travel a lot to and within India.

I have flown Kolkata-Patna-Lucknow, Delhi-Indore, Delhi-Jaipur, Mumbai-Udaipur etc and I found the service very good. Its the only airline that still serves inflight meals (and good ones). I have traveled these sectors on KFA & Jet as well. The KFA flight got canceled and Jet charges you extra for meals.
And Air India still flies to the maximum number of destinations in India, which is a big plus if you travel a lot.
