I came to university today to do some work cuz I get distracted at home. anyway…I did some work for a couple of hours…then went to pray Asr…then I stayed in the prayer room for a while reading a book called “words of the Prophet”…anyway thats when 3 girls I know from uni came to pray 2. we chatted for a while then headed off to get something to eat.
on the way, a discussion started (I cant even remember how ). some1 said something about some1 being a disgrace because they told the police of some1 whos a Muslim…and some1 being a disgrace because they joined the police force etc. etc…
anyway, I didnt get this. I was saying that if u know some1 is about to commit a murder …it doesnt matter whether they are Muslim or Non-Muslim, you should tell the police and stop it. They totally disagreed with me
they said u can never tell of a Muslim no matter what…and then it went onto sept 11th and 2 of them said that what happened was ok and totally right. I disagreed cuz I said innocent people were killed. anyway, we had a massive argument.
basically they said that its ok what happened on sept 11th and I said it was totally wrong. then they said “if u knew a Muslim was going to bomb a nightclub would u tell police?”…I didnt even bother answering and they all said “no…we will let it happen”…I told them I wont comment on that one.
then they went on and on…so I said to one of the girls “some1 told me ur bro was one of the 5 or 7 who were caught in Yemen” and then I said I cant tell u who told me though cuz I made a promise. anyway, then this girl got really worked up…she demanded to know and I refused to break a promise and now she’s kinda annoyed with me
these people are in charge of the Islamic Society. its making me have second thoughts about whether I really want to be a big part of this society (the head) next year or not
up till today, all the Muslims I have met totally disagree with sept 11th. I was shocked about them…
