Please stop bashing Inzi

Enough is enough. Inzi just had a rough patch. This poor guy gets so much crap from everybody whenever he is out of form but he never got an praise for all his heroics.

He literally won us the 1992 World Cup and that too when he was only 20 yrs old and playing his first tournament. He put on 57 runs for the last wicket to win Pak a test match against the Aussies in 1997. And the list goes on…

He was unlucky during this WC. He got a bad decision against Holland when Umpire Venkat gave him LBW although there was a big inside edge onto the pads. Against England, it were the conditions plus great bowling by Andersen. And his run-out against India was very unfortunate.

He is a very down to earth and humble person. He has a great technique. And the fact that we expect a lot from him speaks of his great batsmanship.

Inzi, it’s OK.

yep i agree. He is a great team man. There was a great article before the Pak India match and that exactly Inzi is. I hope he regains his touch. The guys made sincere effort to raise his performance in this WC but things just didnt work out for him. He and youhana are the lynchpins of Pakistan batting. and he still has it in him to suceed at the highest level and insha'allah he will.

There is no doubt that many greats have gone thru rough patches, but why should everyone suffer their bad phases? We lost so many chances just because of his below 3 average. Had he clicked in England, or Indian or other innings things could've been different. But who listens?

He should take a rest, and then comeback, don't drag your feet when you are unable to stand. This great batsman simply needs a rest.

Yes i agree, take a rest and come back hard!!

Everyone seems to forget all the good batting he's done and are just looking at this rough patch of his.

Inshallah he will come back strong and wack that ball all over the ground.

I've been saying the same thing the last week fg. He has got himself fit, and last couple of games he looked like he was really ready to show us the real Inzi but he didn't get the breaks.

I understand the Indian match, I didn't watch Zimbabwe match, I don't know what happened there? But the outcome of all the matches was that he was unable to judge the run, the shot (where the ball lands) etc. He should give himself a break from cricket. Take some rest, I am sure he will bounce back with a big bang.

Inzi's days of prime have passed,he has not achieved any eye rasing performance in the last 16 months, and it is unlikely he will ever be the old inzi again. He is also moving on in age and is dealing with alot of internal issues. I think he should opt for honorary retirement rather than continue to shame himself further and degrade his class.
