Witnessed the same at hardees(hyderi) last week and that too at the second table just at the right side of hardees entrance

Interestingly, young married couples walking hand in hand is considered normal in Iran but not in Pakistan.
I guess, Pakistanis are too uptight.
Is it a legacy of the Zia era or has it always been this way ?

He was probably comparing the two because Iran is a lot more conservative than Pakistan. Everyone's forced to wear the hijab over there, so this comes as a surprise to TS.
