…for my brother’s wife. She is very sick with a blood disorder called Lupus, went to the hospital last night because she did not recognize my brother, she cannot walk at times, is losing her ability to function both mentally and physically - last night it got so bad. Please remember her in prayers and my brother too, so that he has the strength to get thru this and to help her get better.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers...they will certainly help her heal and help the family to deal with this.
My SIL is not old, she is in her late 40s and was diagnosed over 10 years ago with Lupus. She had to have a hysterectomy last year and it was right after that when the lupus flared up with a vengeance. She's been deteriorating but functioning somewhat - till last night anyway. So very sobering and scary - the thought that such a youngish woman could lose so much of herself so quickly. My heart aches so much for my brother. And makes me so much more thankful for each and every second of every day that I have with my boyz, my hubby and my life.
Sorry for rambling....it helps to ramble a bit tho. And thank you all once again for the kind prayers and support.

Mama, I hope she makes a speedy recovery. She's young and she should be able to make a recovery if everything works out alright.
She will be fine Inshallah, keep a copy of Surah Yaseen in her room.. and read it atleast once for her every day.
