Q: On which date of SHBAN month muslims do FATEHA of their dead people? Is it 14th or 15th of Shaban. I am confused, between 14th of shaban and 15th of shaban. Best Regards

It is between 14th and 15th Shabaan. Its the night b/w the two dates, and Muslims also fast (Nafil) on 14th and 15th of Shabaan.

Shab-e-Baraat= aka Nisf-ul-Shabaan= Middle of Shabaan= Night of decisions/forgiveness/prosperity of both worlds

Here is an special Dua for this night.

reading the text of dua you posted I wonder which calander Allah follow? Saudi or local as there is one day difference (usually). like if its 14th Shaban today (Wed) in Saudia local 14th Shaban is on the following day i.e. Thursday.

Which calender Allah Follows ? what the hell .. what do you mean by that ! .. Its probably the time zone difference that is misleading you. btw they are +7 from EST

So Allah's 'Tajali' would be there for different time zones on their respective 14th Shaban.? right..

i actually dont support this cause i did not find good solid backing of such event. If you do believe in it then tell me if its the night in between 14th and 15th(or even night or either 14th or 15th), then in one part of the world it will be night but some where else it wont be.. then how would Allah's 'Tajalli' will happen at the same time ?
Dont you think if this is true then all the muslims will just come and pray for this night ! Its like christians belief that if they make sins they can go to church , confese it, and , according to their belief, jesus (PBUH) will put their case infront of God and will get them mercy...

Why did Allah then ordered 5 prayers a day, 30 days fasting, zakaat etc etc if all we can do is to pray this night and ask for forgiveness every year !!.. does not make sense to me...
