You have all been so very kind when hearing of my dad’s advanced cancer. He had been doing so well but is now in the hospital with pneumonia and he is really very sick. Your extra prayers would be so sincerely appreciated. This is so hard to go thru.

I didn't know your dad is suffering from cancer, I missed the news. May Allah swt help him recover faster from all diseases.

We went down south for the holiday week to see him and to get my family together....it was so lovely to have everyone gathered and it had been such a very long time since we were all together in one place at one time.
So sad, isnt it, that it takes such serious illness or crisis to get together?
Better to stop and smell the roses while you can truly enjoy....
May the New Year bring us all the ability to slow down and appreciate all that we have while we are here.

My father just passed away a few months ago aswell. I do not want to scare you, but if anyone over 60 gets pnuemonia, then you should really brace for the worse. Its reality.
I will pray for your father.
remember, to keep in mind a strategy if, khudanakhasta, somethign happens. That strategy and objectives will help you in your time of need.
