Please help!

We’re planning a “dholki” for my youngest brother. But I don’t think we’ll do it like a traditional dholki cuz too many of the younger crowd end up taking a back seat and are just bored. So we might do a little singing/dancing, but I want it to be something different. Especially cuz we’re just finishing up one traditional desi wedding. Don’t want it to feel like the same thing all over again.

So I need some help coming up with what to do at this event. And it’s very short notice, so something I can plan quickly to be done at home. Games and other forms of entertainment. Any suggestions are much much appreciated. Really. Please help! I am lost!!

Re: Please help!

Dear Sahar - what ever you do...do not play "truth or dare" ;)

"anthakshari" might be good - however, depends on how in-formal the get together will be.

Re: Please help!

My friend hired a karaoke machine for hers. and did lots of games

Re: Please help!

^ karaoke sounds like fun!
what about having a photobooth too with lots of props?
and maybe choreographed dancing to english music for a change?

Re: Please help!

My brother is a music snob. I only know the terrible poppy dance classics and he's all into the indie unknown stuff. I think he would be horrified by my dance music selection :p

Tho he'd be hurt that I called him a snob, so I take it back!!

Re: Please help!

^ lol
anything by snow patrol or death cab for cutie should be good, although they're not particularly indie anymore, but its better than selena gomez! ;)
