hallo friends, i need ur help here actually one of my christian friends asked me some questions about islam, so i want to answer him but i have not enough info about islam… wanna know if i am right, if not then please correct me…so he asked me…

1.He asked?? How exactly does Islam tie into the other two Abrahamic religions (Judaism and Christianity)?

My answer…
1.islam has a big relationship with christianity and Judaism and it’s that they all monothestics(believe in one God)they all have book and a leader.
there are many things like story of Anbia and events that happen in the past.it’s same in Quran karem and Bible.and as Islam said that be together with those that have keetab like christian and Jewish and struggle against the kafar people because u all share same THAT ALLAH IS ONE

2.What is the importance of Jerusalem? I mean this question to compare the importance Mecca and Medina to Jerusalem.

my answer..
2.in the past when there were muslims, christians and Jewish people, the all shared Jerusalem and they divided in three parts by walls. so it’s important city for christian and Jewish but not much for muslims. Muslims consider Mecca and Medina as holy cities coz life of prophet Muhammad and many other important events happened there.

3.Why is there such great enmity between the Jews and Palestinians? Specifically, Is the reason religious or just geographical?

My answer..
3.the fighting between palestinians and Jews is over the land that is called Canaan. they believe that God has promised them a land in the time of Ahraham. Each wants to recieve the land.

4. When reading the Quran and I see the words ..when WE made you… Who is the WE?

My answer..
4.have u ever read the sura in last separa that says IQRA BEISME RABIKAL LAZI KHALAQ.
IT SAYS READ BY THE NAME OF ONE WHO CREATE U .
so it says lazee(kaseeke not kassani ki ) so there is only one that created us.
kevin’’ tell me about the (ayya ) and sura that u read like that and maybe I can tell u more details.

5.Jihad… What EXACTLY is it? and is Osama Bin Ladin’s version the widely accepted defintion or is the equivalent to the David Koresh in Christianity defintion?

My answer…
5.Jihad is shaheed in the way of allah. Osama bin Ladin is extremist and he is not the real Mujahid.accullay he is not muslim he is wahabe.he killed lots of MUSLIMS to save his life but mujahid should shahid himself to save the life of others.

SO IF I AM WRONG IN SOME POINTS THEN PLEASE CORRECT ME…

According to my understanding Jihad is fighting in the way of Allah against injustice in any form. As for Osama Bin Laden well we are no one to judge if he is a muslim or not, we may however disagree with his formof "jihad"

Bait-al-maqdas is a holy city for muslims....
prayer in both masjid-e-nabwi and bait-al-maqdas has reward of 50.00 prayers prayed in other places besides them....

Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship (Masjid Al-Haraam) to the Far distant place of worship (Masjid Al-Aqsa) the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed

so its a blessed mosque with a blessed neighborhood....

fighting is what u get when someone intrudes in ur home....
ask him what he wud do if someone broke into house and tried to kick him out of the house and take over the house claiming it as his own....

WE is used by Allah in Quran to show that only Allah is deservant of pride.... when kings and emperors write letters, they write "We, King XYZ of ABC state bla bla bla", which is wrong because only Allah alone can use such statements of pride.... and that is why one of His names is Al-Mutakabbir.... and Quran makes it very clear that He, Allah, is One so no way can anyone claim that this WE means more than one God....

this question was answered very very wrong by u, as I think....
Jihad means striving in the way of the Lord....
and most commonly, in Islam, it means fighting for the cause of Allah and His religion....
and those who wish to translate it as something that does not involve fighting, let them come up with a single verse in Quran where Jihad means something that does not involve fighting....
a Wahabi is not a non-muslim, just a group of ppl who follow certain ways, like hanafi, hanbali, shaafi....
osama bin laden is not a terrorist, and his involvement in the 9/11 still remains a hypothesis more than a fact....
so he can be called a suspect, not quilty....
and his faith, and his Islam is for Allah to judge and not for us to worry about....

and no his version of Islam (or what the media shows us as his thoughts) is not the mostly accepted or mainstream Islam....
muslims dont think likewise....
