I can understand how worrying it is when a family member whose salvation you so much worry about does not seem to be religious. However you must understand that each individual has a unique relationship with God. Some people are very spiritual but not at all religious. Others may be very religious(performing all the rituals regularly, whether its namaaz, roza etc) but not spiritual at all. Then there are those whose only ibaadat is khidmat-e-khalq. Who are we to judge whether Allah will punish a man or not if he misses his religious duties. Thats for God to decide. Connection with God can happen at many levels in different ways. Just because your dad is not religious does not mean that its is huge matter as u describe. Hidaayat eventually comes from Allah. Its between Him and your dad. However ic could also be that all your father needs are prayers. Pray ke Allah hidaayat dey InshAllah.
Also play Surat Rehman in the house daily within your dad's ear-shot. it is said to have a profound effect on the hearer in becoming closer to God.
I will pray for you and your dad.

Late Mr. bukhari, after research conducted an experiment on hospital patients who were terminally ill. In some wards Surat Rehman was played daily and in others it was not. Patients who heard the Surat Rehman were cured totally , whereas the ones who did not showed no improvement. Repeated experiments showed the same result. Over the years he discovered that failing businesses flourished where this particular surat was heard. It also showed to soften the hearts of sceptics. The Quran says " "Wa nunnazillu mn AlQura'ani maa hua shiffaun wa rehmatun lil aalimeen" meaning "Aur hum ney Qura'an mey woh cheez naazil kee hai jo mu'mino ke liye shifa'a aur rehmat hai".
I am sorry I cannot give you any reference except that I learned this from a man who is a student of Mr. Bukhari, and he passes this message forward and hands out free cassettes of the Surat to help mankind. He suggested I try this as I am a Doc. and the results were amazing.

I am not trying to pick on you, Can we all see your documented proof of "your results" atleast that is under your control. It will be a great service for skeptics like myself. As a Doc you must know that your result can create such a big difference in the medical community and for the patients as well.
