I am sorry to hear of the widespread damage in Islamabad and Jammu & Kashmir.
I am glad spock & Elahi are fine & hope all the other Guppies families in Pakistan too are well.

Death Toll is 18000 and going up, Guys , donate as much as u can, Edhi has an office in NYC, its on National Street, Corona, infront of Al-Falah Mosque. Residents of NYC, can take #7(flushing) train to 103 st station , and its walking distance from there. You can also deposit your donations at any Pakistani consulate and Embassy . may Allah give us Power and Courage to overcome this situation. Ameen

well.. some one has said that the extimate has gone upto 100,000 bt 30,000 i think are confirmed.. because the 18.000 are from the cities.. bt the villages are unaccounted for..

My mom just told me about our very distant relatives (who I even don't know) in Muzafarabad, Kashmir, who said that their house started shaking badly, so they all ran out to their lawn and they saw their house tore down in front of their eyes. But, Al-Hamdulillah, no one is hurt in their family.

Alhamdolillah they survived … even the damage is very painful but a house can be built again with the help of Allah the almighty but perished life doesn’t return … my prayers for all those who suffered regardless of religion and country … May Allah SWT grant them strenght to face the upcoming difficulties
It’s now our duties (as Pakistanis) to help our countrymen in every regard … i think the most effective way would be to donate heavily especially considering its a very beloved deed in sight of Allah SWT to donate inteh holy month of Ramdhan

My condolences goes to people of pakistan or anyone who may have lost their family,friend, and loved ones in this hardhship. Iam volunteering in university to raise fund as much as we can and send relief fund to Government of pakistan asap. Last night saturday i cancelled all my weekend activities, stood and raised 8000$ so far in our synagogue to help victims of earthquake. I personally think this is not enough, we are doing more and as much as i can to raise more money.
