Please HELP save attack on ISLAM.

The contents of the following web site are highly insulting about our Prophet(PBUH), Quran and overall about our Religion. Let us try our best to stop this kind of information being spread around. Email as many
Muslims as you can, to request the ISP to shut down this web site.

We should send a strong protesting mails to the [email protected] to stop this propaganda against Islam. I know there was one site on AOL (America
Online Internet Service) like this and Muslim reacted on that by sending emails to AOL and they banned that site on AOL. So this is our obligation to fulfill our duty to protect Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
May Allah help us to stop such kind of evil efforts against Islam. Ameen.
ALLAH HAFIZ.
Farhina.

ps:
Please pass this letter to as many muslim as you know.

Don’t shut LOVE out of your life by saying it’s impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive LOVE is to give LOVE, the fastest way to lose LOVE
is to hold it too tightly, and the best way to keep LOVE is to give it wings.

Dear Farhina, no need to be so sensitive. There are a million sites more anti-Islamic than this particular site. The trick is to not let it bother you. It should also serve as a lesson for those who may think that it is OK to mock other religions and view everything from “their” goggles. E.g., calling everyone “Kafir” who does not fall into one specific category. The term “Kafir” in Arabic means “non-believer”. Why does everyone needs to “believe” in “that” God to be a “believer”? Different religions believe in different Gods. So I think you should worry about revising your Holy Books rather than worrying about this silly website. Please don’t tell me that your Holy Book (i.e. Quran) is not revisable. If that is the case, then you can’t ask others to “revise” their beliefs.

this same site has been posted so many times in this forum.

Couple of thing, if I may:

1)Since Islam does not or will not allow the follower to question and, or criticize without jeopardizing one's safety, then I guess we owe a great debt to these websites that expose and, or analyze injustices & inequities committed in the name of Islam!

2)Tolerance & Respect is a two way street; Pls do not go around condemning all others who disagree with you, both muslims and non-muslims and then, raise a stinker when the other party retaliate in kind.

I think one of the good things somebody said in a previous thread on the same site was that don't give it too much attention 'cause then the site will be known to others and will get popular.

I think the example that was used was about Sulman Rushdie's book, Satanic Verses, that the book was sold so much not because of it was popular, but rather because it got so much publicity due to its contraversial material.

faceup : Where the hell do you get your information about Islam ? Probably the internet and heresay and I guarantee you that you have'nt even lurked around near the Quran and read it.

Think about it, you have a statistics test, you bone-up on stats by combing through the book in hopes of getting an 'A' in the class. In preparation fo the test you do not go around talking to other people to find out what stats is about, you read the book.

Faceup, FACEUP on your ignorance. Your attitude is of pre-Islamic times and there will be no more prophets coming to show you the right path, you, now, gotta choose the right path yourself.

ZMAN:
I 've read the book; should be rated PG 16.

Pray show me where I erred in my statement of above.

While you are at it I implore you to also explain how Islam is the religion of peace?

O.K. lets see what post-Islamic times man has to say about the facts of the site. Like you challenge other religions to be incomplete, others do have the right to tell you the discripancies in your religion. Of the course the way it has been put up is very inflamatory and anti. But all human beings have brains to think, don't worry about that.

All right, leave the site aside, I ask you from your post, how do you know there won't be any more prophets coming. (Now don't tell us that Mohd. told you so, he may have some ulterior motives behind this statement). In fact if god could convey to him what he wants, why didn't he conveyed the same to other prophets before him once and for all. And if he chose to repeat it once, he can repeat it twice. I find the statement given by Prophet Mohd. that he will be the last prophet and no more will be on the way, to be very egocentric.
(P.S. You need not reply to this, intention is not to challenge your belief, but then don't challenge other's also)

hay hay wait, what about that Messiah/Mehdi/Essa sitting upstair, he will not come anymore. I am confused, who will solve my problem. Who will show me the right path.

johnd : You got me there. You are right, my bad. It is true that Imam Mehdi and prophet Eisa(Jesus) will come back towards the end of the world. In my defense, they will not bring a new message from Allah(SWT) but rather re-emphasize Prophet Mohammed's(PBUH) message.

Its just that I got so carried away by faceups rediculous claims / taunts on what Islam meant that I totally lost sight of everyting.

Thanks for reminding me.

I think the point zman was trying to raise (maybe I'm wrong here) is that it is wrong to say that Islam does not allow us to criticize or question. Of course Islam allows us to criticize or question what was done by Muslims. Why not? Muslims have made a lot of mistakes.

But besides that, I agree with Faceup.
