thanks sis you are awsome…I might dont need heels one but its same size of heel as I have in my shoes and its perfect…also no one will notice the heels as it will hide by trouser anways. thanks a lot…

i say you will looked swamped in a shairwani maybe wear a nice suit instead as you dont want to look short in the pictures

or if you really want to wear it then maybe have the jacket just above the knee or around there so you look taller.

Sure, you should go for a sherwani, especially if your wife-to-be wants that. Keeping height part aside, no bride would want her groom to not look nice and if she says you should wear it, it means you are going to look nice in that.

As for the height concern, someone suggested wearing boots - that can be an option, as long as you wear a shalwar instead of a choridar (which is currently in). With Choridar, you'll need to wear kussa, but instead of going for something off the shelf, get one custom made with the size of heel you are comfortable with.
