Hey Salam girls,

I am ‘silent’ reader at the wedding forums since quite a looong time. Just joined recently… :slight_smile:
inshAllah my wedding is coming up and I am looking for a female videographer in GTA.

I don’t feel comfortable with a male videographer…PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me find a female videographer who has done desi weddings. :frowning:

Amna Hakim photography has beautiful work. She has her own site and a facebook page, check her out!

I only know of Amna Hakim for female photographers. I did quite a bit of research a few months ago for myself and I mostly came across male photographers. A few of those male ones have females as their second photographer....but it'll be the male photoshopping your pics and stuff so I suppose that won't work for you? Try Amna Hakim. She's really good!

There are plenty of female photographers out there. The OP asked for VIDEOgraphers. I know SO many girls who struggled with this..I'm debating on starting my own female videography business to meet the demand, lol.

i've seen some of escape studios work before and they are truly amazing! probably one of the best in terms of their quality of work (along with abciWedding and filmstyle wedding), but i've also heard they are on the much higher end of the spectrum for pricing. I believe they are mostly a male team with one female (but i am unsure of this and also unsure if she does the videography or just client relations work). any other suggestions? :)

hey! It was me who hired Escape and they got me a female videographer for the mehndi. Give me a day or 2 to get the name and number for you. I remember her name was Rasha, and I THINK (cant remember for sure) that she was from Babylon video. I dont live in Canada anymore, so I have to ask my brother to go through my old cell phone, I think her number was in there.

The only thing is, there was a difference between the video that Escape did and that the girl did. Escape had much better equipment (cameras) and their videos were in HD, whereas the one the lady did (the mehndi) the quality wasnt as nice. Dont get me wrong, she did a good job, but just not as good as Escape.
