Re: Please guide me to plan a 20 days Honeymoon trip  where to go?

Have you considered Kashmir and will you be willing to drive to Gilgit/chitral side? Kashmir at least has very drivable roads and PC muzzafrbad is cheaper than Bhurban (and has a better looking building tha Bhurban in my opinion), and the trip ahead is very beautiful.

And naran was at least drivable when I went and had a lot of hotels and plenty of parking space.

Also do look up tour guides online like Pakistan tour | Guided tour of Pakistan 2025 best touroperator in Pakistan. Their tour options can guide you to the places you can go. You should look and choose which places sound like more fun to you. Maybe then we can help narrow it down.

Whatever you do book prior to going to your holiday.

Would you please tell me about your budget?

Would you please mention you experience of driving in north areas, i mean places?

If you want to decrease your budget then please review the number of days. I think Murree, nathia, and kashmir is simply a no because you will get bored there in few days. there are far better places in Pakistan.

Peace humanityfirst

This is my attempt at a plan ...

Day 1 - 2: Rawalpindi to Balakot
Mid morning leave … after a small break in Muree for lunch head on to Balakot
Spend night here and soak in local village atmosphere

Day 2 – 4: Balakot to Naran
Leave before midday … Get to Naran … There you can see the beautiful Saif-ul-Muluk lake … watch sunset … go to hotel – morning walk around national park in Saif ul Muluk and return to hotel
Stay 2 nights in Naran

Day 4 – 5 : Naran to Gilgit
Leave very soon after sunrise
Take a break in the Lulusar national park – mid-morning
On the road to Jaglot look out for scenic spots to take pictures of Nanga Parbat – It is a high peak in the Karakorum range.
Lunch at Jaglot and move swiftly on to Gilgit
Might catch a good scene as evening sets in- get to hotel – spend next day checking out the lovely town and heart shaped lake and mountains for pictures.
Spend another night in Gilgit, prepare packed lunch, take items for barbecue and camp fire
Leave Gilgit early morning and drive along Gilgit river road towards Shandur National Park

Day 6: Travelling to Shandur
Set up a camp fire and have a BBQ anywhere on road better in designated areas in the parks.
Get to hotel in or near Sor Laspur or Booni and stay night

Day 7 – 9: Shandur to Chitral
Leave mid- morning to Chitral … watch out for local high peak Buni Zom on road
Stay in Chitral for two nights
Day 9 take off for Swat drive through

Day 9 – Drive through lower Swat
Drive on N45 through Swat non-stop, N95 and then N90 – remember to take your passports with you, army is in region and is checking everyone in and out of Swat – these days the roads are safer and tourists are coming back, but better not stopping … Take your pictures and continue on to Besham City, have lunch ….

Day 10: Mansehra
Drive from Besham city to Mansehra and stay the night …

Day 11 - 13: Nathia Gali

Day 14 – 16: Ayubia

Day 17: Rawalpindi drive home

This trip takes you around in a circle anti-clockwise … it is better to do Muree last as it will be the longer stay and getting home will be easier.
I would suggest getting a local driver and paying him and keeping him all the way for the journey too … plus his hotel stays or car stay whichever is in your budget.

I would not stretch the journey longer than this time ...

Re: Please guide me to plan a 20 days Honeymoon trip :) where to go?

I am sorry to inform you that Babusar Pass (Naran to Gilgit) is going to close or already closed. there has been heavy snowfall few days ago.

Re: Please guide me to plan a 20 days Honeymoon trip :) where to go?

Oh :( ... well humanityfirst ... needs to think about this carefully ...

Re: Please guide me to plan a 20 days Honeymoon trip  where to go?

yes,

Naran was -2c few days ago and Babusar Pass is much higher. Gilgit Baltistan is the best and there is no doubt about it.
