Please give zakah and donations to those affected by the earthquake in Pakistan

Assalamo alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

As most of you must be aware that some parts of Pakistan have been hit by a severe earthquake due to which over 35,000 have died and thousands injured.

Since it’s the month of Ramadan and many do pay their zakah during this month, if you can, please give your zakah to those affected by the earthquake. Also, please generously make donations to the best of your ability, insha’Allah.

i withdrew the amount of zakat due on my money to give it off for the earthquake victims....
went to the mosque and someone told me of the sufferings of the muslims in Niger, and since he was collecting money for help that was soon to be sent to them (Niger is 98% muslim country), i thought many r sending help to pakistan, and hardly has anyone even heard of niger, so i gave it off to help the brothers in Niger....
