Have you heard of the VahRehVah chef? He posts videos on youtube...he makes all kinds of great dishes. My mom improved her butter chicken by following his recipe and I must say...it is delicious!

Unfortunately I can't post the link because of the 25 post rule...but if you go to youtube and search for "VahRehVah + butter chicken" you'll find it.

add some low fat sour cream to saras recipe and you will have the most divine butter chicken on the planet

@nabz, near the end yes.
low fat sour cream has no lumps and enough water content so you dont even need to whip it.
after i add it in, i let it cook on low heat for a bit longer. stir it a couple of times and voila.

as for the quantity, add it according to your taste. the more, the yummier, but dont go overboard, coz you dont want to triple your calories nor dilute the masala too much.

for the amount of chicken based on the shan recipe, i'd say half a cup is plenty.
