Please Enlighten a new Moderator

I once (long ago) mentioned a guppie’s name in a thread in Pak-Affairs, and was warned by Mursalin, the moderator there that I could not mention the name of a guppie who is not participating in that particular thread. Even though I didnt say anything bad about that guppie, but I still felt that rule was right, and I accepted it.

However, to my surprise, some of your moderators are not aware of this rule, now that my name was mentioned by a guppie in a thread where he was asking for ‘it’ and that too in a deregatory manner.

All I am asking is to inform a ‘new’ moderator about this rule as I dont think she knows about it. I know she has a hard time locking/editing posts already, but this would add to her moderating knowledge.

Thank you

PCG, why do you make personal attacks? Did I say anything wrong in my post? I didnt even take your name in this thread, and personally, I dont think you even knew about this rule. And also, I posted this like a month ago, so you need to check the feedback forum more often, like the other mods do. Before you were mod, I didnt mind you making these statements, but now seriously its 'you who need to grow up'. If someone extends courtesy and talks politely, you need to do the same thing.

  1. You're absolutely right about my checking the forum more often. I should do that and I have begun.

  2. I warned the particular guppie you are talking about when they brought your name into the discussion and you did not appreciate it. In fact, I warned both you and him at the same time. AT which point, over PM, we discussed whether or not it was unfair to NOT warn this other guppie. And I had to keep telling you that I DID WARN the guppie, although you insisted that I didn't. Now you open up this thread in the feedback forum and you're complaining about the same thing, and I tell you again, that I did warn the other guppie about bringing in others' names into the discusion.
