Please educate me

Re: Please educate me

question for IntelliPhant is, do you want to be educated scientifically or religiously?
In any case, this is an important information for you to have. Science and Religion do not agree on everything ... don't be surprised, pick your pick.

Re: Please educate me

When a person dies his/her first place is grave (from Muslim point of view). After the person has been buried and every one leaves the graveyard, there comes the angels and ask three questions.

  1. Who is your lord?
  2. What is your religion?
  3. Who is the last messenger

I would suggest people to concentrate on that instead of finding out if Adam :as: was the first prophet or human on earth.

Re: Please educate me

Adam and Eve lived 250,000 years ago?!

Re: Please educate me

first of all yes he was the first human created by Allah but he was not the first Prophet created....

the prophet peace be upon him said I was the first Prophet even when Adam Allahs blessings upon him was between water and clay.

Re: Please educate me

Quran asks you to explore, learn and discover, beyond these three questions.

Re: Please educate me

^ thats true...so are you prepared for the day of judgement or grave? Its easy to type but did you tried upon the words you posted or even try to understand what exactly it means? What have you done to be ready for your grave or the day of judgement? If nothing or not enugh than there is no point of pondering, exploring or discovering other irrelevant things. :)

Re: Please educate me

Is this the prerequisite? did u start going to school only after u were ready for judgement day or grave?

Re: Please educate me

What prophet is that? Can you be more specific, there are 124,000 of them.

Re: Please educate me

my apologies...the last seal the last of all Prophets...the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him his Family and his Companions......

Re: Please educate me

How can he have been the first prophet when there were 123,999 that preceded him?

Re: Please educate me

Relax dude you don't have to jump up and down and try to show that you actually went to a school and know how the schooling works. I simply pointed out what a person needs to worry about instead of finding out if Adam was a first human or prophet or both. There is nothing to talk about prerequisite or schooling which may impress you. You don't have to pick and chose to reply on my post if you can provide something constructing than go for it otherwise don't bother. And to prepare for the day of judgement or grave you don't have to go to a school....look within yourself and try to fix yourself instead of pointing fingers.

Re: Please educate me

depends on what school of thought you want to believe in.

If you believe in Christianity (I think Islam also adopted same genesis from them) then adam was the first man and eve was the first woman. I personally cannot accept this because it means that all of humankind is inbred and based on incestual relationships right upfront!

If you like the Darwin school, there ws no such thing - humans evolved from apes

If you believe in the Hindu philosophy I think all worlds, Gods and lives and things sprang from the Mahapurush and they all get gobbled backup cyclically; then a new Brahma creates new worlds and lives...and so it goes on.

sri Vishnu's avtars are very intriguing - if you look at the sequence of the 10 main avtars:

Mathsya - water bound animal
Koorma - amphibious animal
Varaha - land based animal
Sri Nrsimha - half animal half human
Vamana - tiny human, Brahmin characteristics
Parasurama - Brahmin acquiring Kshatria like warrior qualities, including anger
Sri Rama - Kshatriya by birth but demonstrating humility, like a Brahmin
Sri Krishna - Yadava; showing how tactics have to adopt to time & yuga dharma
Bhuddha - Kshatriya renouncing kingdom and showing Dharma includes love
Kalki - Yet to occur; Will be the destroyer of evil when it overpowers creation

Note that some people consider Sri Balrama as an avtar before Sri Krishna and do not count Bhuddha as one.

Also that the Yugadharmas are supposed the define human ethics; Before Sri Rama it was Sathya Yug where all was pure and good always won over evil. Sri Rama was in the ThrethaYug where good ultimately triumphed after momentary aberrations; Sri Krishna was in the DwaparaYug when different tactics had to be adopted in addition battles for good to triumph over evil. In Kaliyug ofcourse there will such evil that the creation will have to be destroyed and recreated.

Thus starting a all new cycle!

Isn't Hinduism so beautiful logical and interesting? That's why I love it
