Please Do Not Deprive The Nation From Knowing Such A Noble Person

PLEASE DO NOT DEPRIVE THE
NATION FROM KNOWING SUCH
A POLITICIAN STILL IN US
08 June 2004

Mr. Jewan Khan is an urdu columnist. He had probably been a senior bureaucrat who recently retired. He is writing weekly column which are very public appeasing. In his latest column appeared in daily Jang of 5 June 2004 on the topic on the proposed “District Ombudsman Commission” while about talking generally about he helplessness of ordinary man and powers of officials, he has mentioned that in this land of pure of 5 rivers there is a small district where is no open handed greasing of the palm. The reason of which is the elected representative from that district. Just learning about any such deal he makes it his personal matters, raising such irregularity at upper levels and fights unless the “deal” is not undone. There is no “Bhutta” culture in his constituency. Last month some senior powerful officer came in the grip of this elected representative and he had to go transferred “empty handed”.

Mr. Jewan Khan has done a great “injustice” with his readers by not mentioning name of such a rare speciy still present in out of lot of elected in Pakistan. Mostly humbly It is prayed that Mr. Jewan Khan should not deprive the citizen of country knowing such a personality to feel still there is much hope for Pakistan despite imported foreign wisdom policies.

nice shock, people like this should be named and made examples to follow.

atleast there is light end of the tunnel.
