Re: Please critique this replica!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I do admit that it is different from the original and it is because if I made it ditto like the original, it is lots and lots of stones used in kaam and the price would have gone up. I was told to “DECREASE WORK ON DAMAAN. PLEASE ADJUST THE KAAM/ SIZE OF BEADS SO THAT IT WILL LOOK GOOD FOR A STRAIGHT KAMEEZ”. I made the changes accordingly and since she is a first time customer, in an attempt to satisfy her better, I added spray on the front AND dupatta (she never asked for it) because it felt too plain. My mistake, the surprise turned the other way round for her. We have not even discussed anything about it because I sent the picture, she told she expected a different result and she said she’ll discuss on GS&with family and will get back to me.

Ideally I shouldnt even had participated in this thread because just as any other member, she rightly asked for opinions and this thread/discussion is not at all about confronting or arguing over the dress. I just had to post here because she forgot to mention few details without which the readers would have had a totally different perception of the situation.

My offer/suggestions to make it more like what she wanted are reserved for the time when we discuss it after she makes up her mind about it. Being a customer, she has all rights to be satisfied in any way that works for her so I am just waiting to hear from her since she is busy with her family until the weekend.

This is her first order with me and probably that’s why she’s been a bit nervous, which is natural. I am all here for any amendments, additions, a re-do,replacement or even a refund for the order, whatever she feels would work best for her.

(I wish she had given me a chance to explain possibilities and options to work this out :bummer: )
