Into rule breaking forum. It seems like that the current moderator hasn’t familiarized herself with the rules of the forum, which is surprising since she was an active member of the same forum before she became a mod. Yet for the past couple of months, it has been seen that jokes that are clearly in violation of the policies of the joke forum, which btw were created after the frequent visitors of that particular forum asked for those policies, are still around and nothing is done about them. There is an inappropriate joke sitting in the forum right now, yet no action has been taken against it right now. Similarly, ethnic jokes in the past just stay there until they get buried by other jokes.
I guess that’s how things will be from now on. Bravo
No offense intended to anyone, but where some people who can't tell a earhole from a butthole have been made responsible for policy compliance and moderating forums, such incidents are not really surprising. Take it from a member, the quality of your management has deteriorated over time, to the point where I don't feel like posting on the forums anymore.
Can you please post or pm me the link and I will check it out! Maroush and hangout team will look into these all these issues and will take appropriate actions. Also, please pm the mods or use the report post system for questionable posts/threads.
Our current mods have more responsibilities (more forums to mod) as compared to any other times where mods usually have not more than 2 or max 3 forums. Korn has 5 forums that she takes care of. This is certainly not the justification of overlooking a policy but mods are also human beings and can overlook stuff.
One thing that I like to add. Insulting or putting down mods always amazes me. They are not anyone's personal servants. There is always a polite way of pointing out concerns rather than using crude language against the mod team. I am sure members would not tolerate any crude language if mods ever use it against them, but somehow it becomes ok for members to do that.
Policies of a forum is not as important than ethics and manners of social interaction. Ethnic jokes might be insulting Pathans or Sardars or memons and that is not good, but insulting a person that you interact with every single day should be bigger shame.
